My Students:
I teach kindergarten in a Title 1 school that has an English Language Learner program. Currently, 78% of students are on free & reduced lunches and 50% speak English as a second language. My students love learning about current events in the real world!
My Project:
I would like a class subscription of the Scholastic News Magazine. Every student will be able to take home four magazines a month. The magazine topics cover social studies and science topics that connect to our curriculum. Some every day material needs (sit spots and headphones) are also included in this project.
