The students participating in the Olathe Northwest Center Based Resource program are an amazing, talented, tenacious group of individuals whom also happen to have disabilities.
My Project:
In our continued efforts to continue exposing our young adults to real life vocational experiences and opportunities we sought to create an in school business. The Center Based Resource students will be running a coffee shop and serving both drinks and baked goods. Through this opportunity, we are continuing our focus on activities that are considered life and vocational skills.
My Students Need:
Supplies are needed to start and run the coffee shop business that practice real life and vocational skills in a supported setting.
