My Students:
Our theatre classes are composed of 6th - 8th grade students from various cultural and theatrical backgrounds. These students will work throughout the year to create several large scale paintings for our productions. They will learn leadership, drafting, mathematics, and color theory through their experience with large scale theatrical backdrops.

Our Theatre student field trip to Kenmark Scenic Backdrops in Overland Park will provide students with the opportunity to see professionals painting and repairing large scale scenic backdrops. Students will learn how to properly fold a rented backdrop. The trip will help to prepare theatre students to create their own medium scale backdrops for three Indian Trail productions this year.

Kenmark has generously offered to host our field trip for free. We are in need of funds to provide bus transportation to and from the studio in Overland Park & lunch funds.
