My Students:
I have approximately 300 diverse, energetic elementary students. My students love to move: run, jump, swing, bounce balls, and play! Recess provides a time in which they get to be active; to run just for the joy of running and to play games that they organize.
My Project:
To help in getting my students active more quickly, I’d like to purchase a new recess cart. A cart with wheels that can handle being rolled in and out on the blacktop without wearing down. This cart also has lower sides making it easier for younger students to reach equipment without having to wait for help and a smaller wire mesh lining that prevents smaller items like jump ropes from falling through and getting caught in the wheels. In addition, I’d like to purchase a small electric pump too.
