My Students:
DECA is an international organization that is preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs to be college and career ready. These students, some low income, participate in networking competitions in which they get to improve their public speaking skills, business and marketing knowledge, and confidence in themselves.
My Project:
One of the professional attire at the National DECA Competition is all DECA members wear the DECA Blazer. These Blazers are required for any student to compete at the national level. Without these blazers the students would not be allowed to participate in this networking opportunity.
