My Students:
My 4th grade students have a passion for reading and science. This book, Night of the Twisters, is a perfect combination of both! In the past, we have had to have groups of students share the chapter books which makes it trickier for them to read and enjoy the story.
My Project:
At the end of the school year, the class loves reading about twisters and Kansas weather. We complete a variety of technology projects to go along with the story with one final project at the end to summarize the story, characters, theme, etc.
My Students Need:
My students need a 1:1 ratio of this novel to help them be more engaged with the text and have more time for the exciting projects that tie into the story.
