My Students:
The Lunar Launch Project will give every 5th grade student at Arbor Creek Elementary an opportunity to construct and launch their very own model rocket. This Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) activity is an innovative way to incorporate many 5th grade science standards in weather, light/sound, and variables of motion.
My Project:
The Lunar Launch Project would give every 5th grader (91 students) the opportunity to construct, design and launch a model rocket. Our school would be able to purchase model rockets and all the materials needed to launch the rockets. This project would be a culminating activity at the end of the school year for all four 5th grade classes at Arbor Creek Elementary.
My Students Need:
My students need model rockets, construction materials, and launching material to complete this Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics activity.
