Frontier Trail Middle School
Amount Requested:
$1 500.00
Deadline:

My Students:
Frontier Trail has a diverse population. FT is at 18% free and reduced lunch. There are no 3D printers in our building at this time.
My Project:
Technology is transforming our world. A major transformation for that future is the application of 3D printers. 3D printers are currently being used to design and create components for millions of products from computers to medical implants. Because the printer works in all dimensions, the possibilities are only limited to one’s imagination. I believe that introducing students to this ground-breaking technology is essential to preparing them for a future in our ever-changing world.
My Students Need:
3D printing will engage the students in three grade levels, and allow them to see real world application of technology, math, and science.
