My Students:
I have a classroom of 25 amazing Fourth grade students! They are super creative, ambitious, and love to learn. My students are all very driven and hard working. We spend a lot of time learning how to be leaders and the importance of valuing everyone's differences.
My Project:
I would like to offer my students flexible seating options. My hopes are that by tuning into how they learn best, students will learn how to advocate for themselves and take ownership of their learning. I don't expect all of them to learn in the same way and I know some of them would learn better if they didn't have to sit still in a chair all day long.
My Students Need:
My students need various flexible seating options to use in order to foster choice, movement, sense of community, and sensory input.
