My Students: 
Our photography students LOVE to work with their hands. With the loss of the wet lab darkroom, we are constantly looking for ways to give students a magical moment with their digital images. The use of alternative process photography has allowed them the opportunity to get dirty and make art with a digital approach.
My Project: 
With the newness of this art form comes a need to adapt what we have to fit our new way of working. We have a lovely work surface in the back of one of our digital labs that the students love to use as workspace. We love to deconstruct our work with X-acto knives and stitch into photos with needle and thread. With these tools we have potential to do some damage to the work. Currently we cover the surface with paper, which protects from glue and other materials, but it does not protect against
