My Students:
"Full STEM Ahead" club will consist of approximately 30 fourth and fifth graders. One of the benefits of this program is that it will introduce a number of concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) which will hopefully foster a curiosity and desire to seek out further opportunities in these fields.
My Project:
Green Springs has participated in the FIRST Lego League (FLL) competitions for the past three years. We’ve been limited to the number of students (10) we have been able to invite due to FIRST Lego League regulations. Our goal is to triple the number of students currently enrolled in this after school program to give more students the opportunity to construct, program, and compete with Lego robots.
My Students Need:
Students will need three LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 Core Sets to provide enough resources to expand this program.
