The 21st Annual Olathe Public Schools Foundation (OPSF) Golf Classic was an unprecedented success, raising more than $117,000 for our Olathe students and teachers. Funds raised during the annual tournament provide innovative classroom grants, educator and certified staff excellence awards, and funding that helps to meet the needs of Olathe kids.
More than 300 golfers and volunteers came together on June 8 at Prairie Highlands on a beautiful day on the links. Who won? Olathe students were the clear winners as teams from across Kansas City gathered to compete and have fun.
“We absolutely want to thank our sponsors and volunteers for their outstanding support of Olathe students,” said Cindy VonFeldt, OPSF Executive Director. “The funds raised are an important component in bridging the gap between an adequate education and an excellent one.”
We hope to see you at next year’s golf tournament!
